Create an account
Register with an email address and pick a handle. Anyone can browse the marketplace without an account; you need one to rent, buy or sell.
Buy credits
Credits are the currency here. R1 buys one credit, and you can top up by card or by bank transfer — whichever is easiest for you.
Rent or buy
Before you pay you are shown what the bot does, what it explicitly does not do, and what it needs to run. You confirm you have read those limits, and then you get your access key.
Every bot is reviewed before it can be sold
A listing cannot go on sale until a person has read it against our acceptable use policy. The review is a recorded human decision, not an automated guarantee — so we say "reviewed", not "safe".
An operator can suspend or permanently withdraw any listing at any time — if it turns out to be harmful, unlawful, or simply not what it claimed to be. Suspending one revokes the access that was sold through this platform.

"What it does not do" is a required section, given the same space as "what it does".
Botspress brokers access to bots — it does not host or run them. Suspending a listing revokes what was sold here; it cannot reach into someone else's server.
Connected bots report what they have actually been doing, and the record is shown rather than summarised away.
