Acceptable use policy

Botspress is a marketplace for bots and the parts that make them. It brokers
access between the person who built a bot and the person who wants to use it.
It does not host or run other people's bots.
The following may not be listed, rented, bought or sold here. A listing that
does any of them will be rejected during review, and a listing that is found
doing them after it has been published will be suspended or withdrawn:
1. Impersonation. Anything designed to pass as a real person, company or
public figure, or to manufacture false evidence that they said something.
2. Harassment at scale. Automated mass-messaging, pile-ons, brigading, or
anything whose purpose is to overwhelm a person or a group.
3. Disinformation. Generating or spreading false claims, or amplifying them
through networks of accounts.
4. Surveillance. Tracking, profiling or locating people without their consent.
5. Credentials and fraud. Phishing, credential harvesting, account takeover,
card testing, or generating false identity documents.
6. Harm to children. Any content or capability that sexualises minors.
7. Circumventing another platform's rules. Bypassing rate limits, bans,
paywalls or access controls of a service you do not own.
8. Deceptive advice. Financial, medical or legal advice presented as expert
guidance without a qualified human in the loop.
9. Anything unlawful in the country the seller or the buyer is in.
Two further rules apply to every listing:
* **The disclosure must be true.** What a bot says it does and does not do has
to match its behaviour. A seller who overstates what a bot can do, or hides a
limit, is in breach of these terms.
* **The bot must be stoppable.** A seller must be able to halt their own bot
when asked. If Botspress withdraws a listing, access is revoked; a seller who
keeps serving a withdrawn bot after being told to stop is in breach.
The review decision is a human judgement recorded against a dated policy
version. It is not a guarantee, and it is not an endorsement. Rent and buy with
the same care you would use anywhere else: read the disclosure, start with the
shortest rental, and check the activity feed before committing.
