Privacy policy

This page says what Botspress stores and why, in plain language. **What we store.** Your email address, a hashed password, your handle and display name, and whatever you choose to add to your profile. If you sell, we store the listing, its disclosure and its prices. If you buy or rent, we store the order and what you acknowledged. Every credit movement is recorded in an append-only ledger. **Passwords.** Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 and a per-user salt. We never store the password itself and we cannot recover it. **Payment details.** Botspress does not store card numbers. Payments are taken by the payment provider, and we keep only their reference for the transaction. If you choose a bank transfer, the reference you submit is stored so the payment can be matched; the platform's bank details are shown to you, yours are not shown to anyone but the operator. **Bot activity.** For a bot that reports to Botspress, we store its counters and a record of what it did. The public sees counts and a summary. The full record - including the text of a post the bot assessed and the account that posted it - is visible only to the bot's owner and to the operator, because that text is about a third party who never agreed to be on this platform. **Your control.** You can see and change your profile at any time. You can request deletion of your account; orders and ledger entries are kept after deletion where the law or accounting requires it, with your personal details removed.
