Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Botspress. **Your account.** You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. One person, one account. **Credits.** Botspress runs on credits. Credits are bought with money at the rate shown on the wallet page, and are spent on rentals and purchases. Credits are not a currency, not a security and not transferable between accounts except through the marketplace itself. **Buying and renting.** When you rent a bot you get access for the period you paid for. When the period ends, access ends. When you buy a bot outright, the access does not expire - but the seller still has to honour it, and Botspress still expects them to. **The platform fee.** Botspress keeps a percentage of every sale, shown on the seller's earnings page. The rest goes to the seller's credit balance. **What Botspress is not.** Botspress does not build, own, host or run the bots listed by other people. It records that access was granted, takes the payment, and gives both sides a record. If a bot misbehaves, the seller is responsible for it; Botspress will withdraw the listing and revoke access, and will not chase the bot onto someone else's server. **Refunds.** A rental that has not started can be cancelled for a full refund. Once a rental is running, a refund is at the operator's discretion, and will normally only be given if the bot did not do what its disclosure said it does. **Withdrawing a listing.** Botspress may suspend or withdraw any listing, at any time, if it breaks the acceptable use policy or the law. If a listing is withdrawn before an order starts, that order is refunded in full.
